When This Medicine Should Not Be Used:

How to Use This Medicine:

Injectable

• Your doctor will prescribe your dose and schedule. This medicine is given through a needle placed in a vein. It must be given slowly, so the needle should remain in place for 10 to 30 minutes.
• A nurse or other health provider will give you this medicine.
• Read and follow the patient instructions that come with this medicine. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.

Drugs and Foods to Avoid:

Ask your doctor or pharmacist before using any other medicine, including over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.

• Some medicines can affect how plasminogen, human-tvmh works. Tell your doctor if you are using a blood thinner.

Warnings While Using This Medicine:

• Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have kidney disease, bleeding problems, stomach or bowel problems, lung or breathing problems, or blood clots.
• This medicine may cause the following problems:
  • Bleeding problems
  • Tissue sloughing or shedding, which may cause breathing problems, stomach or bowel problems, or urinating problems
• This medicine is made from donated human blood. Some human blood products have transmitted viruses (including Creutzfeldt-Jacob disease), although the risk is low because donors and blood are both tested for viruses. Talk with your doctor if you are concerned.
• Tell any doctor or dentist who treats you that you are using this medicine. This medicine may affect certain medical test results.
• Your doctor will do lab tests at regular visits to check on the effects of this medicine. Keep all appointments.

Possible Side Effects While Using This Medicine:

Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these side effects:

• Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
• Blood in the urine or stools, lower back or side pain
• Chest pain, trouble breathing, coughing up blood
• Cough, sore throat, voice changes
• Stomach pain, bloating, nausea, constipation
• Unusual bleeding or bruising

If you notice these less serious side effects, talk with your doctor:

• Back, arm, leg, or joint pain
• Dry mouth
• Headache, dizziness
• Pain, itching, burning, swelling, or a lump under your skin where the needle is placed
• Tiredness
