When This Medicine Should Not Be Used:

How to Use This Medicine:

Injectable

• An eye doctor (ophthalmologist) will give you this medicine as a shot into the eye.

Drugs and Foods to Avoid:

Ask your doctor or pharmacist before using any other medicine, including over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.

Warnings While Using This Medicine:

• Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have other eye problems.
• This medicine may cause serious eye or vision problems, including a detached retina, endophthalmitis (swelling of the inner eye), eye infection, increased pressure inside your eye, or neovascular (wet) AMD.
• This medicine may cause temporary blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything else that could be dangerous until you can see clearly.
• Your doctor will check your progress and the effects of this medicine at regular visits. Keep all appointments.

Possible Side Effects While Using This Medicine:

Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these side effects:

• Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
• Bleeding in your eye
• Eye pain or redness, trouble seeing, sensitivity to light, eyelid swelling, blurred vision

If you notice these less serious side effects, talk with your doctor:

• Floaters (seeing dark spots or lines in your field of vision), increased tearing
