Epinephrine (ep-i-NEF-rin)

There may be other brand names for this medicine.

You should not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to epinephrine.

Your doctor will tell you how much medicine to use. Do not use more than directed.
This medicine is for use only in the nose. Do not get any of it in your eyes or on your skin. If it does get on these areas, rinse it off right away.
Before using the medicine, gently blow your nose to clear the nostrils.
This medicine may be applied using a dropper, spray, or swab.
Do not use this medicine if the solution is a pinkish color or if the solution is darker than slightly yellow. Do not use this medicine if the solution is not clear. There should not be any particles floating in the solution.

Take a dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, wait until then and take a regular dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.

Keep the bottle tightly closed when not using it. Store at room temperature, away from heat and direct light. Do not freeze.
Ask your pharmacist, doctor, or health caregiver about the best way to dispose of any outdated medicine or medicine no longer needed.
Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.

Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, or thyroid disease.
Do not give this medicine to your child unless your doctor tells you to.
Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse.

Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
