How big is the baby in the uterus?

At 1 month, the baby growing inside the mother's uterus is very small. The baby is so small she could fit in the palm of your hand and is about the size of your thumbnail. Over the next 9 months, the baby will grow more inside the uterus until she is ready to be born.
